As we all know, Karthi's Japan and Sj Suryah-Raghava Lawrence's Jigarthanda Double X are clashing at the theatres for Diwali this year. As the films are gearing up for release, the makers have begun promotion for the films. 

While the teaser of Jigarthanda Double X has already been unveiled, the makers of the Raju Murugan directorial, Japan, are yet to start their promotional activities. On Monday, producer SR Prabhu shared that the film's teaser will be unveiled by them, soon. 

Prabhu has however not mentioned the date of release of the teaser. A quirky actioner, Japan's glimpse, which was released on Karthi's birthday, showcased him in a never-before-seen look and role as a wacky gangster. 

Backed by Dream Warrior Pictures, Japan marks the second collaboration between director Raju Murugan and Dream Warrior Pictures after Joker.  Apart from Karthi, Japan also stars Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, and cinematographer-filmmaker Vijay Milton in pivotal roles.

While the music of Japan is by GV Prakash Kumar, the cinematography and editing are by Ravi Varman, and Philomin Raj, respectively.
