Earlier, we had reported that actor Vishal would collaborate with director Hari for an upcoming film tentatively titled Vishal 34. The latest update about the film is that Gautham Vasudev Menon and Samuthirakani have onboarded the film's cast. 

On Sunday, taking to his X account(formerly known as Twitter), Vishal shared the news, " Standing with three multi-talented directors in one photo is a rarity, and a must keep forever. Welcome on board Gautham Vasudev Menon bro and Kani anna in Vishal 34 directed by Hari sir," he wrote.

In the tweet, Vishal also shared his excitement to don the director's hat for the first time with the upcoming film Thupparivalan 2, "Gonna post this photo again next year and changing the no to four directors. Looking forward to that moment too, #Thupparivalan2 here I come asap (sic) 

Vishal 34  is produced by Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Production and Kaarthekeyan Santhanam's Zee Studios. The upcoming film will mark the third collaboration between Hari and Vishal after Thamirabharani (2007) and Poojai (2014).

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Gautham Vasudev Menon was last seen in Karumegangal Kalaigindrana. He has Vijay-starrer Leo gearing up for a release on October 19. 

On the other hand, Samuthirakani was last seen in Are You Ok Baby? the actor also has a few films in the pipeline, including Indian 2 and Game Changer, at various stages of production.
