Vikram Prabhu's Raid to release for Diwali

Raid, the upcoming Tamil film starring Vikram Prabhu in the lead role, is set to hit the theatres for Diwali in November. The film will be releasing along with Jigarthanda DoubleX, and Japan.

Raid is an action thriller, directed by Karthi. It is a remake of the superhit Kannada film, Tagaru, which starred Shivarajkumar and Dhananjaya.  The film is backed by SK Kanishk and GK Manikannan. Director Muthaiya has written dialogues, which features Sri Divya as the female lead role. Raid marks the second collaboration between Vikram Prabhu and Sri Divya, who were seen together in the 2014 comedy, Vellaikara Durai.

Ananthika, Rishi Rithvik, Soundararaja and others will be seen in pivotal roles.

Sam CS is composing music for this film, which features cinematography by Kathiravan, editing by Manimaran and stunts choreographed by K Ganesh.
