GV Prakash to star in a horror film set in the ocean

On Tuesday, Kamal Haasan unveiled the first look poster and launched GV Prakash's upcoming film Kingston. Directed by debutante Kamal Prakash and with Divya Bharathi playing the female lead, the film also stars Antony, Chethan, Kumaravel, and Sabumon, among others.

According to the makers, Kingston is a horror-adventure film set in the ocean. GV Prakash Kumar will be composing the music for Kingston, he will also be producing the film under his banner Parallel Universe Pictures in association with Zee Productions. Kingston marks the actor-composer's maiden venture into film production. In a statement, GV Prakash says, "It has been my lifelong dream to become a producer, and I was waiting for the proper story. After listening to the script of Kingston I was confident that it would appeal to the interests of audiences ranging from kids to adults. I immediately decided to produce it and commissioned the process. "

Gokul Benoy is handling the cinematography while San Lokesh is taking care of the editing. SS Moorthy is the art director for Kingston while Dhilip Subburayan takes care of the action choreography.
