Irugapatru, the Tamil film, has been receiving a wide range of positive reception from all around the corner since its release on October 6. Actor Karthi is the recent notable personality who showered appreciation for the film.

Taking to his X handle ( formerly Twitter), the actor wrote," Irugapatru reminds us that it takes a lot of preparation to be a husband/wife. Understanding, love and more importantly, mutual respect is what is required to keep relationships going. Kudos to the team behind a beautiful film with great performances that mirrors today's scenario" (sic) 

Irugapatru is directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan, who has previously made Tenaliraman, Potta Pottim, and Eli. The film features an ensemble cast, including Vikram Prabhu, Shraddha Srinath, Vidaarth, Shri, Abarnathi, and Saniya Iyappan. 

Irugapatru 's  technical crew consists of Justin Prabhakaran as the music composer, JV Manikanda Balaji as the editor, and Gokul Benoy as the cinematographer.

Irugapatru is produced by SR Prakash Babu, SR Prabhu, P Gopinath, and Thanga Prabahran under Potential Studios LLP. 

Meanwhile, Karthi was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan 2. The actor has Raju Murugan's directorial Japan in the pipeline.
