Actors Yogi Babu and Pramod Shetty are set to play the lead roles in the upcoming Tamil film Sannidhanam P.O. The film is directed by debutant Amuthasarathy, with Sarvata Cine Garage in association with Shimoga Creations producing it.

An emotional comedy film, Sannidhanam P.O is set against the backdrop of Sabarimala and will be simultaneously made in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

Speaking about the film, director Amuthasarathy said in a note, "Sannidhanam P.O. will narrate the story of a mother's search for her son who went missing when he was a child. The film will strike a balance between family sentiments and comedy. Sithara plays the mother and Yogi Babu will be the son. Kannada actor Pramod Shetty plays the other lead role."

The film will go on floors soon in Chennai and also be shot in Pollachi. Varsha Viswanath, Menaka Suresh, Moonnar Ramesh, Vinod Sagar and Ashwin Haasan are also part of the cast. Ajinu Ayyappan has written the story and screenplay, while Amuthasarathy has penned the dialogues.
