On Friday, Duvin Studios announced that their next production, tentatively titled Prod#1 is all set to star Sibiraj Sathyaraj in the lead role. The announcement was made on the occasion of the actor's 41st birthday. 

The upcoming film marks the maiden directorial venture of filmmaker Ilayaraja Kaliyaperumal. He is an erstwhile associate of directors Ganesh Vinayak, Jagan Rajasekhar, and Vinod DL. Latha, Balu and Durgaini are backing the project under the Duvin Studios banner. 

While the makers are yet to reveal more details about the plot and genre, the film will also feature Raj Ayappa in a prominent role. The technical crew of the upcoming film includes editor Lawrence Kishore, music director Sundaramurthy KS, and cinematographer Karthick Venkat Raman. The makers will release the film's first look poster soon.

Meanwhile, Sibiraj currently has director Dharanidharan's Jackson Durai: The Second Chapter, the sequel of the 2016 film Jackson Durai. He will feature alongside his father and veteran actor Sathyaraj in the film.
