The much-awaited teaser of Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Ayalaan is finally here. Directed by Indru Netru Naalai-fame Ravikumar, the sci-fi film based on aliens, is said to be heavy on visual effects. 

The 2.06-minute-long teaser showcases an alien landing on Earth amidst a tense atmosphere. There are environmental changes like locust attacks and birds flying off their cages akin to what happens before a natural disaster when a scientist, who could also be a potential villain, is experimenting on a rock/mineral. There is also news circulating about dinosaur eggs being found on Earth. We can also see Sivakarthikeyan befriending this alien and taking him home.

Directed by Ravikumar, the film is backed by KJR Studios and 24AM STUDIOS. Ayalaan, has Rakul Preet playing the female lead. Apart from Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul, the film also features Isha Koppikar, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran in key roles. 

Ayalaan has music by AR Rahman, cinematography by Nirav Shah, and stunts by Anbariv. 

The much-anticipated film, after multiple postponements, is all set to hit theatres during the festive occasion of Pongal next year. It is to be noted that Ayalaan has been in the post-production stage since the filming wrapped in early 2021.

"With the primary goal of ensuring that our Ayalaan reaches its full potential, we believe some extra time will allow us to enhance the film's quality for a remarkable viewing experience. We are confident that the wait will be worth it, and it will be a celebration in theatres," wrote the production house.
