Actor Trisha, who was recently seen in Leo, condemned some crass comments made by actor Mansoor Ali Khan, during an interview the latter had given in which he talked about sharing screen space with the actor. It to be noted that both the actors appeared in Leo, though did not have any scenes in common.

In a video circulated on social media, Mansoor Ali Khan is seen saying about acting as an antagonist in films, “They do not allow us to rape. I had wanted to tell at the time of Leo, but did not. When I came to know that I will be acting with Trisha, I thought there will be some bedroom scenes and I can throw her on the bed. How many films I have shot with those scenes.” The actor also said that he did not even have the chance to interact with her.

In response to the derogatory comments made by the actor, Trisha took to social media to strongly condemn his statements. “A recent video has come to my notice where Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner. I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste. He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind,” Trisha wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Mansoor Ali Khan’s statements have been received with negative remarks on social media, with some calling out the actor who is known to make controversial remarks in the past as well. Others part of Leo are yet to address the issue.
