Director Seenu Ramasamy known for films like Dharma Durai and Maamanithan, is all set to debut as an actor, with an upcoming social drama film in Tamil, titled Equality. The first-look poster was unveiled by the director-turned-actor on Monday. 

Sharing the poster, the director penned a long note on his official X handle. He wrote, "Dear all, I am not a perfect complete Actor but I am still learning. I don't know how I am going to develop myself as an actor physically and mentally." 

He further wrote that by facing the screen he realised that there is immense talent in the Tamil film industry. He continued that as a director he knows how to bring in realism with his actors, but finds it challenging as an actor. 

The upcoming film is written and directed by R Vijay Karthik. More details about the film's cast and plot are yet to be announced by the makers. The technical team of the upcoming film includes Hari SR composing the music and VB Venkat handling the editing. The film is produced by S Thangaraj.
