With Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda Double X releasing on Friday, actor Dhanush took to social media to share his review of the film a day ahead. Notably, Dhanush and Karthik have earlier worked in action drama Jagame Thandiram.

The last 40 mins of d film steals your heart. All the best to the crew and cast,” Dhanush wrote on X.

Starring SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence in the lead, the film is the sequel to the 2014 film Jigarthanda which starred Siddharth and Bobby Simha. The upcoming film also stars Nimisha Sajayan, Sanjana Natarajan, and Naveen Chandra in significant roles.

Jigarthanda Double X's technical crew includes music composer Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer S S Thirunavukarasu, who collaborated with Karthik Subbaraj in Mercury and Petta, and editor Shafique Mohamed Ali.

The film is backed by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Kathiresan under the Stone Bench Films & Five Star Creations banners.
