CE Features

Earlier, we had reported that actor-filmmaker Ameer would be headlining an upcoming Tamil film, Uyir Thamizhukku. It has now been learned that the much-delayed project has cleared censorship formalities with a UA certificate.

Uyir Thamizhukku is directed by Adham Bava, who is best known for producing the 2021 film Anti Indian. Billed as a political drama, the earlier released poster of the film featured Ameer as a politician.

The film is produced by Suresh Kamatchi under his banner V House Creations, who had earlier produced the Venkat Prabhu-Silambarasan TR film Maanadu. The music for the film is composed by veteran composer Vidyasagar.
