Earlier, we had reported that singer-composer Yuvan Shankar Raja would lend his voice to a song for Santhosh Narayanan's composition for the upcoming film Jigarthanda Double X. On Thursday, the song has been released. It is titled Theekuchi and has lyrics penned by Muthamil and Poovan Matheesan.

Starring SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence in the lead, the film is the sequel to the 2014 film Jigarthanda which starred Siddharth and Bobby Simha. Nimisha Sajayan, Sanjana Natarajan, and Naveen Chandra play key roles in the upcoming film. 

Jigarthanda Double X's technical crew includes music composer Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer S S Thirunavukarasu, who collaborated with Karthik Subbaraj in Mercury and Petta, and editor Shafique Mohamed Ali.

The film is backed by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Kathiresan under the Stone Bench Films & Five Star Creations banners.
