The makers of Japan, starring Karthi in the lead role, released the song titled Sottangalla on Wednesday. Composed by GV Prakash Kumar with lyrics penned by Yugabharathi, the song has been sung by Sean Roldan.

Directed by Raju Murugan, Japan marks Karthi's 25th film. The film stars Anu Emmanuel as the female lead. 

The earlier released trailer of the film showcases Karthi as a wacky heister. Backed by Dream Warrior Pictures, Japan marks the second collaboration between director Raju Murugan and Dream Warrior Pictures after Joker.

Apart from Karthi, Japan also stars KS Ravikumar, Sunil, and cinematographer-filmmaker Vijay Milton in pivotal roles, among others.

The technical team of the film comprises cinematographer Ravi Varman and Philomin Raj.

Japan will hit the theatres on November 10.
