After the colossal success of Dada, actor Kavin has joined hands with choreographer Sathish for his directorial debut. The yet-to-be-titled film, which was launched on Friday, will have its music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. 

Produced by Raahul under the banner of Romeo Pictures, the upcoming film will have Preethi Asrani as the female lead, who made her Tamil debut with Sasikumar's Ayothi.

It is to be noted that the upcoming film is the first collaboration between Anirudh and Kavin. Taking to Twitter, Kavin wrote that working on a film with Anirudh's music "is a dream come true", and he also extended his gratitude to producer Shenbagamoorthy and director Mysskin for being in attendance at the film launch. 

The film's shooting commenced on Friday itself and will be held in Chennai and surrounding areas. The technical team of the film consists of  Harish as the cinematographer, RC Pranav as the editor, and Surya Rajeevan as the art director.
