The makers of the upcoming Tamil film Por Thozhil released the teaser of the film on Tuesday. Directed by debutant filmmaker Vignesh Raja, the film stars Ashok Selvan and Sarathkumar in the lead roles.

The teaser hints that the film is an investigative thriller, with Sarath Kumar and Ashok Selvan essaying the role of cops. Curiously all the victims are women, and Sarath Kumar plays a laid-back cop while Ashok Selavan plays a newly joined officer in the posse.

Por Thozhil also stars Nikhila Vimal in a significant role. Vignesh Raja has written Por Thozhil along with Alfred Prakash. The film's technical crew includes Kalaiselvan Sivaji as the cinematographer, Sreejith Sarangm as the editor and Jakes Bejoy as the music composer. 

The film is attached to Applause Entertainment studio, which marks its maiden Tamil project with Por Thozhil. The banner behind projects like Scam 1992, and Zwigato, will be producing the film in association with E4 Experiments and Eprius Studio. 

The film will hit the theatres on June 9.
