While Venkat Prabhu's Custody starring Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty, just hit the theatres last weekend, speculations about the director's next film are going rounds on the internet.

Latest reports and social media buzz suggest that Venkat Prabhu will reportedly direct actor Vijay for Thalapathy 68. However, there is no official announcement about the same so far. Meanwhile, a snippet from Venkat Prabhu's interview with a YouTube channel from last year is also going rounds on social media platforms. 

When asked about his potential collaboration with Vijay, Venkat Prabhu said he is working on a script that he believes will hopefully impress and excite the actor. "I hope I will be able to get a go-ahead from him, and I really look forward to working with him," he added. Meanwhile, Vijay is currently shooting for Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, and others in pivotal roles.
