As Sunday marked International Mother's Day, director Vignesh Shivan took to his Instagram and called his wife and actor Nayanthara the world's best mother. Celebrating the duo's parenthood. 

In another post on Instagram, Vignesh Shivan wrote, "Dear Nayan … you are a 10 on 10 as a Mother too. Immense love and power to you, my Thangamey! Your first Mother's Day, a dream come true for us. Thanking God and all the goodness in this world for blessing us with the best-blessed babies"

In October 2022, actor Nayanthara and her husband and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan announced the birth of their twin baby boys. In several social media posts, Vignesh Shivan hinted that their children are named Uyir and Ulagam. And recently, Nayanthara, in an award function, revealed the full name of their twin boys as Uyir Rudronil N Shivan and Ulag Daiwik N Shivan.

It may be noted that Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan tied the knot on June 9, 2022. Meanwhile, a documentary, Nayanthara: A Fairy Tale, will chronicle the love story of actor Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan which culminated in a grand wedding and is set to premiere on Netflix soon. On the work front, Nayanthara was recently seen in Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, and her 75th film will be directed by debutant Nilesh Krishnaa.
