The makers of Porkudi, the upcoming Tamil film, released the trailer of the film on social media on Tuesday. The film is set to hit the theatres on May 25.

The trailer of the film reveals that the film will be set against the rural backdrop and conflicts that rise due to power dynamics and caste hierarchy. There is a romance, sides being taken, pride of birth privileges that determine the film’s plot.

The film is directed by Aaru Bala and stars RS Karthiik, Aradhya, Sankar Dass, Arun Mozhi Dhevan, among others. The film's technical crew consists of cinematographer Ramesh Ezhumalai and music composed by Senthamizh. Manikandan is the editor.

Porkudi is backed by 11 Villagers Film Production and Yadav Film Production.
