Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveeran gets a new release date

The film will release in Telugu as Mahaveerudu

Maaveeran, the upcoming film starring actor Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, has announced a new release date. 

The film, which was earlier supposed to release on August 11, will now release on July 17. The film will release in Telugu as Mahaveerudu. Directed by Madonne Ashwin, the film also stars Aditi Shankar as the female lead, along with an ensemble star cast including Mysskin, Saritha, Yogi Babu, and Sunil, among others. The film is backed by Shanthi Talkies. The film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Vidhu Ayyanna, music composer Bharath Shankar and editor Philomin Raj. Maaveeran marks Madonne’s sophomore directorial after the award-winning film Mandela.
