Mammootty condoles the demise of veteran filmmaker-actor Manobala

The actor died due to live-related issues

Following the demise of Manobala, actor Mammootty shared his tribute to the late actor-filmmaker.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Mammootty wrote, "Deeply Saddened to hear that my dear friend and colleague Manobala has passed away. Hearty Condolences to his family and friends."

Manobala, last seen in Ghosty, died on Wednesday due to live-related issues. Having starred in more than 200 films, Manobala also had 24 films to his credit as director. His debut directorial feature was Aagaya Gangai in 1982, which starred Karthick and Suhasini in lead roles. Known for his comic roles, Manobala regularly collaborated with the biggest stars in Tamil cinema.

His last rites are expected to take place at his residence in Chennai on Wednesday. He was 69. He is survived by his wife and son.
