The shooting of the upcoming web series My Dear Dayana starring actor Manikanta Rajesh, former Bigg Boss contestant, has begun, with an inaugural ceremony held in Chennai on Friday, the makers announced. The occasion was also graced by actor and Manikanta's sister Aishwarya Rajesh.

It will be a romantic thriller.

My Dear Dayana marks Manikanta Rajesh's first web series. The series will be helmed by Arulmozhi Giridhar Ramaganesh and Purushothaman Kutti. It also stars actor Mahalakshmi, Jana Kumar, Mahesh Subramaniam, Akshay Premnath, Duroshini and others.

Guha Ganesh will compose the music for this web series with cinematography by Watts Prabhu. Elangovan has done the editing work.

Manikanta recently took part in the sixth season of Bigg Boss.
