Indian 2's next schedule to commence in Taiwan

We know that actor Kamal Hassan has been shooting for the sequel to the 1996 film Indian. The latest update about Shankar's directorial venture is that the film's following schedule will be set in Taiwan. 

According to reports, Kamal Hassan will be leaving the country with Shankar this week after attending the Ponniyin Selvan 2 trailer launch on Wednesday.                      

Indian 2 will reportedly hit theatres in the second half of 2023. The film also features Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Guru Somasundaram, and Bobby Simha in prominent roles. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music, while Ravi Varman is the cinematography.

On the work front, after Indian 2, Kamal Haasan has films with directors Pa Ranjith and H Vinoth. He also has the tentatively titled KH 234 with director Mani Ratnam and Vikram sequel with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
