With Ponniyin Selvan II set to hit the theatres on April 28, the makers on Sunday released a behind-the-scenes video showing the recording of the Aga Naga song in Tamil. The video features Shakthisree Gopalan crooning to lyrics written by Ilango Krishnan. 

The music for the film has been composed by AR Rahman. The trailer and audio of Ponniyin Selvan II are all set to be launched on March 29. 

Directed by Mani Ratnam, Ponniyin Selvan I was received very well and minted big at the box office. The epic period film also features Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman and R Parthiban.

The film, based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's novel, is adapted by Mani Ratnam, along with Elango Kumaravel and B Jeyamohan. 

Produced under the Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions banners, Ponniyin Selvan was shot by Ravi Varman. The technical crew includes editor A Sreekar Prasad and production designer Thota Tharani.
