Bharathiraja to feature in son Manoj's directorial debut

Actor Manoj Bharathiraja will be marking his debut as director, with an upcoming Tamil film that will star his father and veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja in a crucial role, along with newcomers.

While the film will be backed by director Suseenthiran under the banner Vennila Productions, GV Prakash will be scoring music. It will go on floors by the end of next month. The first look poster of the yet-to-be titled film will be launched on March 31.

It is to be noted that Manoj made his acting debut with Taj Mahal, which was helmed by Bharathiraja.

Meanwhile, Bharathiraja was last seen in Karthi-starrer Viruman. On the other hand Bharathiraja was seen in a full-fledged role in Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam, has Thiruvin Kural in the pipeline. The filmmaker was also seen in a cameo role Vaathi.
