With just little over one month left for the release of Ponniyin Selvan’s second part, the makers are leaving no stone unturned in keeping the fans updated about the film’s progress. Recently, the makers released the song Aga Naga which will feature Kundavai and Vanthiyathevar played by actors Trisha and Karthi respectively.

While the first song from PS-II is out, composer of the film AR Rahman and director Mani Ratnam are currently busy recording the background score for the film. The duo is working on it at Abbey Road Studios in London.

Ponniyin Selvan is the cinematic adaptation of Kalki’s novel of the same name. The film features Jayam Ravi in the titular character, along with an ensemble star cast including Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Karthi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar, among others.  Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film is produced by Madras Talkies in association with Lyca Productions.

PS-II will hit the theatres on April 28.
