Actor Simran is currently inundated with appreciation and praise for her terrific performance in the recently released Hindi film Gulmohar. On the work front, the latest update is that the actor has joined the cast of the upcoming film, Sabdham.  

Directed by Arivazhagan, Sabdham stars Aadhi Pinnisetty and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles. The film is billed as a horror thriller. Arivazhagan and Aadhi earlier worked in the critically acclaimed 2009 horror film Eeram. Backed by 7G Films with Aalpha Frames, a home banner of Arivazhagan, the upcoming film will mark his debut production venture. The film is expected to release in Tamil and Telugu. The film also stars Laila. The technical crew consists of S Thaman scoring the music. While Arun Bathmanaban is the cinematographer, VJ Sabu is the editor.
