Kannai Nambathey censored U/A

Udayanidhi Stalin's Kannai Nambathey has been certified U/A, the makers announced on Saturday. The film is all set to hit theatres on March 17.

Kannai Nambathey is written and directed by Mu Maran, who is best known for making the 2018 action-thriller Iravukku Aayiram Kangal which starred Arulnithi in the lead. 

Billed as a suspense-thriller, Kannai Nambathey has Udhayanidhi Stalin playing the lead while Aathmika plays the female lead. The rest of the cast includes Srikanth, Prasanna, Bhumika Chawla, Vasundhara Kashyap, Sathish Marimuthu, Subiksha Krishnan, and Pazha Karuppiah. 

Produced by VN Ranjithkumar under his banner LIPI Cine Crafts, the film is being distributed by Red Giant Movies. The music for Kannai Nambathey has been composed by Siddhu Kumar while the cinematography has been handled by Jalandhar Vasan. 

Udhayanidhi Stalin will next be seen in Mari Selvaraj’s Maamannan, the actor had earlier declared that he will retire from acting after the film and will focus entirely on his political career.
