Vignesh Shivan to direct Pradheep Ranganathan?

Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, who was supposed to helm Ajith's AK62 but got replaced by Magizh Thirumeni, is said to have approached director-actor Pradheep Ranganathan, to play the lead in his upcoming rom-com. 

Speculations also state that the script Vignesh has pitched to Pradheep was originally written for SK17, starring Sivakarthikeyan. The Sivakarthikeyan-Vignesh project failed to take off due to undisclosed reasons. 
 
The project was supposedly titled, Love Insurance Corporation (LIC) and expected to be a time travel romantic comedy. 

Pradheep Ranganathan, who made his directorial debut with Comali, rose to fame with Love Today, his first film as a hero. Post the success of Love Today, he had expressed his interest to act under the direction of other filmmakers. 

There is no official confirmation about the project yet.
