Actor Laila, who made her comeback to films with Sardar last year, has joined the cast of director Arivazhagan's Sabdham. The announcement was made by the makers today. 

Sabdham stars Aadhi Pinnisetty and Lakshmi Menon in the lead. The film was last in the news for the addition of Redin Kingsley to the cast. It is to be noted that Arivazhagan is also making his debut as a producer with Sabdham. He will be producing the film under his banner Aalpha Frames, along with 7G Films.

The technical crew of Sabdham consists of S Thaman scoring the music, Arun Bathmanaban handling the cinematography, and VJ Sabu handling the editing. Arivazhagan has already worked with Thaman on his previous films including Eeram, Vallinam and Aarathu Sinam.

Meanwhile, another film by the director, Borrder has been postponed multiple times. It is expected to be released soon.
