Actors and celebrity couple Arya-Sayeeshaa will be reportedly making a cameo appearance in Pathu Thala. There are no details about the roles they will be playing in the film. 

Pathu Thala is a remake of the 2017 Kannada film Mufti. The upcoming film is helmed by Obeli N Krishna. Silambarasan will essay the character originally played by Shivarajkumar in the Kannada version. The film also stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan, and Teejay Arunasalam in supporting roles. It has music by AR Rahman. 

The film is backed by Studio Green and all set to release on March 30.
