The teaser of Pathu Thala, the upcoming film starring Silambarasan in the lead role, will release on Friday evening, the makers informed on social media on Thursday.

It  is set to release on March 30.

Pathu Thala is a remake of the 2017 Kannada film Mufti. The upcoming film is helmed by Obeli N Krishna. Silambarasan will reportedly essay the character originally played by Shivarajkumar in the Kannada version. The film also stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan, and Teejay Arunasalam in supporting roles.

The film is backed by Studio Green.
