Actor Kangana Ranaut, who has been working on the post-production of Emergency, has now joined the sets of Chandramukhi 2.

Taking to her social media handle, the actor shared some pictures of Chandramukhi 2. She shared two pictures from her vanity van. She is decked up traditionally. She tweeted, "Back on the sets of my upcoming movie Chandramukhi 2 with my team. It's a very dramatic look and situation we are all very excited about it."

Directed by P Vasu, the film marks the sequel to the 2005 film that starred Rajinikanth. The film stars Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles. The cast also includes Vadivelu, Radhika, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Mahima Nambiar and Ravi Maria, among others. The film is backed by Lyca Productions. Meanwhile, it is reported that MM Keeravani is roped in to compose the music for the sequel. Notably, Chandramukhi ran for a record-shattering 890 days in theatres. It was a remake of the Malayalam classic Manichitrathazhu.
