On Monday, actor Sonu Sood took to Twitter to host an #AskSonu session. During the session, a fan asked the actor for his favourite Tamil actor. 

Replying to the fan, Sonu said, "Vijaykanth sir. He gave me my first break in a Tamil film …Kallazhagar." Kallazhagar was Sonu's debut film in which he starred as an antagonist alongside Vijayakanth. 

The 1999 film starring Vijayakanth and Laila in lead roles was helmed by Bharathi. Laila also debuted in Tamil with the film. Kallazhagarrevolves around Kannan (Vijayakanth), whose friendly and helpful nature is much appreciated, in the village he has recently moved to. Aandaal (Laila) believes he is a mythological saviour who has come to marry her.
