On Friday, the trailer of Vikram Prabhu- starrer Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku was released in a trailer and audio launch event held in Chennai. Directed by Karrthik Adwait, the film will hit the theatres on June 23.

The trailer begins with a voice-over introducing Aravind, the character played by Vikram Prabhu. Aravind has poor vision in normal light and requires bright light to see his surroundings. Next, we witness a sequence of occurrences that suggest Aravind is facing some troubles and is being pursued by malicious individuals.

Here is the trailer

The film stars Vani Bhojan as the female lead and marks the debut of Kannada actor Dhananjaya in Tamil.

In a recent conversation with CE, the director revealed, "Vikram Prabhu plays the role of a commoner who faces some problems. His character has a particular characterisation that plays a part in how he tackles the problem."

The technical team of Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku comprises Sridhar as the cinematographer and CS Prem Kumar as the editor, and Sagar as the music composer.
