Kartik Aaryan, who will be seen next alongside Kiara Advani in Satyaprem Ki Katha, believes that there is still a “love” and “craze” for romantic films. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film also stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania.

In a recent interview, Kartik Aaryan spoke about the importance of romantic films, “I think the love and craze for romantic movies is still alive. Bollywood has always been known for its iconic romantic films, but I guess they’re trickier than even comedy.”

Speaking about how love has changed in modern times, he said, “Today, the definition of love has changed, even though the emotion remains the same. When I pick a romantic movie, I make sure it has something real for the audience to connect with, for them to relate their relationships with.”

Besides Satyaprem Ki Katha, releasing on June 29, the actor also has Aashiqui 3 and Kabir Khan's untitled next in the pipeline.
