Recently, the makers of Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer announced that they have completed filming. The latest update is that the Sree Gokulam Movies will distribute the film in Kerala. The film is set to hit the theatres on August 10.

Jailer is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, who last helmed films like Doctor and Beast. The upcoming film will be the filmmaker’s maiden collaboration with Rajinikanth. The film is bankrolled by Sun Pictures banner, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. Vijay Kartik Kannan is the cinematographer, with Nirmal as the editor.

Jailer will boast an ensemble star cast across industries, including Mohanlal, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, and Shivrajkumar. Besides this, the film will also feature Tamannaah, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan, among others.
