Vikram Prabhu-Eesha Rebba's next to be a crime thriller

Actor Vikram Prabhu, last seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2, will star next star in an untitled film directed by Ramesh Ravichandran. The film also stars Eesha Rebba as the female lead. 

Backed by R Ganesh Murthy and G Soundarya's Lemon Leaf Creations, the film will go on floors on Wednesday after a pooja ceremony. Speaking to CE, Ramesh, who previously assisted filmmakers like Suseenthiran and Sarkunam, says his upcoming film will be a crime thriller. "Vikram Prabhu and Eesha play police officers in the film. I conceived this story based on an incident that inspired me. We are planning to shoot the entire film in Chennai," he adds. 

The film also has Burma-fame Michael Thangadurai, MS Bhaskar, and Narain, among others. Meanwhile, Rasamathi will handle cinematography, Ghibran will score the music, and Richard Kevin will do the edits.

Meanwhile, Vikram Prabhu has a handful of projects, including Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku and Raid. On the other hand, Eesha, last seen in Nitham Oru Vaanam, has Aayiram Jenmangal and Mama Maschindra in the pipeline.
