Shanthnu's recent rural drama Raavana Kottam, directed by Vikram Sugumaran of Madha Yaanai Koottam fame, will premiere on Prime Video on June 16. The film which co-stars Anandhi, Prabhu, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, and Aruldoss, tells the story of two friends who are pitted against each other to create a caste divide in their village. Raavana Kottam hit theatres on May 12 and opened to unfavourable reviews. 

The film has music by Justin Prabhakaran. Vetrivel Mahendran has taken care of the cinematography while the editing is done by Lawrence Kishore. Raavana Kottam is produced by Kannan Ravi.
