On Saturday, the makers of Sunaina's Regina announced that the film's trailer will be unveiled by director Venkat Prabhu on June 5 at 6:30 pm at an event in Chennai.

Last week, the makers released the film's teaser. The teaser shows Sunaina's Regina asking someone if they remember a bank robbery, and then she goes on to say that the story will change after a point. Without revealing much about the story, the teaser shows several fast-cut glimpses from the film.

Billed as a crime thriller, the film is helmed by Malayalam director Domin D' Silva, who previously made films like Paipin Chuvattile Pranayam and Star. With Regina, Silva will be marking his Tamil debut. Regina is backed by Satish Nair under the banner Yellow Bear Productions LLP.

Regina's technical crew consists of Pavi K Pawan handling the cinematography and Kamar Edakkara as the production designer. Toby John is the editor. The film will release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
