Petta Rap is the title of the upcoming Tamil film starring actor-choreographer and filmmaker Prabhudheva in the lead role. The film will also star Vedhika as the female lead, marking her first collaboration with Prabhudheva.

Billed as a musical action film, Petta Rap will be directed by Malayalam filmmaker SJ Sinu. It is backed by Jobi P Sam. It is to be noted that the title of the film shares its name with Prabhudheva’s song, which was featured in 1994 film Kadhalan.

The film is written by Dinil PK, with cinematography by Jithu Damodhar. D Imman will be composing the music of Petta Rap. San Lokesh is the editor. The film is set to go on floors soon.

Meanwhile, Prabhudheva was last seen in Bagheera. He will be next seen in Flashback, co-starring Regina Cassandra.
