The makers of Maamannan unveiled all the songs from the film in a grand audio launch held in Chennai on Thursday. The makers were already announced the tracklist moments before the unveiling of the songs.

Composed by A R Rahman, the soundtrack consists of seven songs, including the already released songs Raasa Kannu and Jigu Jigu Rail. The other pieces on the list include Kodi Parakura Kaalam, Nenjame Nenjame, Utchanthala, Manna Maamanna and Veerane. Singers, including Kalpana Raghavendar, Rakshita Suresh, Deepthi Suresh, Aparna Harikumar, Vijay Yesudas, Shakthisree Gopalan, A R Ameen, Pavithra Chaari, Sireesha Bhagavathula along with the composer and actor Vadivelu have lent their voices to the songs. 

Maamannan is written and directed by Mari Selvaraj. The film features Udhayanidhi Stalin, Keerthy Suresh, Fahadh Faasil, and Vadivelu in prominent roles. It is Mari Selvaraj's third directorial venture after Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan. Notably, it will mark Udhayanidhi's final film as an actor before he takes up a full-fledged political career.

While a release date is yet to be revealed, the makers are planning for a June release. The film is backed by Udhayanidhi's Red Giant movies. The technical crew includes cinematographer Theni Eswar, editor Selva, lyricist Yugabharathi, and dance choreographer Sandy.
