On Sunday, the makers of actor Vemal's Thudikkum Karangal announced that the film is gearing up for release in the month of August. However, the makers are yet to announce the date of release. 

Previously, the makers released the first look poster of the film. The poster, featuring warmer tones, shows Vemal holding a gun with an intense look. 

Thudikkum Karangal is written and directed by Veludoss, and backed by K Annadurai. The filmmaker has co-produced the film along with Kalidoss.

The technical crew of Thudikkum Karangal consists of Rammy as the cinematographer, while Lawrence Kishore is on the edit. Ragav Prasad has composed the music for the film.

Meanwhile, Vemal was last seen in Deiva Machan and Kulasamy. A number of his projects, including Sandakkari, Enga Pattan Sothu, Manjal Kudai, and Lucky, are in various stages of production.
