Sony Music acquires Alphonse Puthren's Gift audio rights

We had earlier reported that filmmaker Alphonse Puthren's next is titled Gift. Headlined by choreographer turned actor Sandy, the film has music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The latest update is that Sony Music has bagged the film's audio rights. 

The music label penned a brief note on their Twitter handle, announcing the news, " We feel truly Gifted to be on board this amazing project! Gift it is! An Isaignani musical" 

Produced by Raahul, Gift has a script penned by Alphonse, and he also serves as the editor of the film. Besides Sandy, the film features an ensemble cast including  Kovai Sarala, Sahana Sarvesh, Magalakshmi Sudarshan, Sampath Raj, Raahul, Charlie, Raichal Rabecca, Crawford, Gopalan Palakkad and Cycle Mani.

Aviral Jha cranks the camera of the film. Gift marks Alphonse Puthren's fourth directorial venture after Neram, Premam and Gold.
