CE Features

Earlier, it was announced that Vignesh Shivan will be directing Ajith Kumar's 62nd film, backed by Lyca Productions. The film, tentatively titled AK 62, was expected to go on floors by the end of this month. However, recently speculations are rife that this project has been shelved, and instead, the actor will work with filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni, who last directed the Udhayanidhi-starrer Kalaga Thalaivan

According to the buzz, there is a delay in the commencement of Vignesh Shivan's film as they are said to rework the script. Meanwhile, Magizh has reportedly narrated a story to Ajith, and the actor seems to have given the go-ahead.

However, there is no official announcement yet, about the new association or the delay in Vignesh's directorial. On the other hand, it may be noted that both Vignesh and Ajith have flown to London recently. Meanwhile, Ajith's latest release Thunivu, directed by H Vinoth, fared well at the box office and became a commercial success.
