First look images of Gevi promise a gritty film based on a true story

The first look images of the upcoming Tamil film Gevi, consisting of three character posters, have been released online. The character posters revealed the look of actors Sheela Rajkumar, Aadhavan, and Jacqueline Lydia in the film.

The poster carried a Tamil tagline “Oru sabikkapatta graamathin Mudhal Unmai Kadhai” which roughly translates to, “The first true story of a cursed village.” The shooting for the film is currently underway.

Gevi is directed by Tamizh Dhayalan while the film is being produced by ADYAG Productions. Jagan Jayasurya is handling the cinematography for the film while Aswath Narayanan is taking care of the editing. The music for the film is being composed by Balasubramanian G. The  makers of Gevi are yet to confirm a release date.
