Goundamani returns to films with Palanichamy Vaathiyar 

The full-fledged comedy film also stars Radharavi, Chitra Lakshmanan, T Siva, Manobala and Sanjana Singh

Veteran comedian Goundamani, who had taken a break from acting, will be returning to cinema with a new film titled Palanichamy Vaathiyar. The film produced by Velammal Cine Creations' Madurai Selvam, has Yogi Babu and Ganja Karuppu playing important roles. 

The full-fledged comedy film also stars Radharavi, Chitra Lakshmanan, T Siva, Manobala and Sanjana Singh. 

Palanichamy Vaathiyar has cinematography by Wide Angle Ravi Shankar and music by K. It may be noted that the composer had previously worked with Goundamani in the film 49O.

Directed by Selva Anbarasan, an alumnus of the film institute, the film has editing by A Nagaraj and production design by Raja. 

Interestingly, the makers are in talks with a major hero to play a cameo in the film.
