The cast of Rajinikanth's next film Jailer just got bigger. Actor Sunil, who predominantly works in Telugu film industry, has joined the sets of the upcoming film, the makers announced on social media on Tuesday.

Jailer is backed by Sun Pictures with Nelson Dilipkumar directing the film. It is to be noted that only a few weeks back, the makers of the film revealed that Malayalam actor Mohanlal will also star in Jailer. With the film featuring Rajinikanth as Muthuvel Pandian, the film already boasts a stellar star cast, including Shivrajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, and Yogi Babu, among others.

Jailer has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Although a release date is yet to be announced, it is expected that the film will be out this summer.
