Bakasuran censored U/A 

The film is set to release in theatres in February

Bakasuran, the upcoming film starring director Selvaraghavan in the lead role, has been censored U/A, the makers announced on social media. The film is set to release in theatres in February, while a date is yet to be set.

Helmed by Mohan G, the film also stars Natty in the lead. From the trailer of Bakasuran, which was released a few months ago, it is expected that the film will deal with the topical issue of women being lured and cheated into sending personal videos of themselves.

Mohan has directed films like Draupadi and Rudhrathandavam, which drew criticism for the themes it handled and portrayal. Bakasuran also stars Radharavi, Rajan K, Rams, Saravanan Subbiah, D Gunanithi, Tharakshi, Mansoor Ali Khan, Devadharshini, and PL Thennappan. With music by Sam CS, the film is produced by GM Film Corporation.
