Director Mithran R Jawahar clears air on rumours regarding his upcoming film

He last directed the Dhanush-starrer Thiruchitrambalam

Filmmaker Mithran Jawahar's last outing Thiruchitrambalam, starring Dhanush, Barathiraja and Prakash Raj, received overwhelming love and appreciation from the audiences. Many fans also ranked it in their list of 2022's best films. And while there were speculations doing rounds regarding the actor's upcoming project, the filmmaker took to his social media handle to clear the air on rumours.

He wrote, "After Thiruchitrambalam, I am working on the script for my next film. I am not doing any other film now. Don't believe fake news and advertisements associated with my name. I will soon announce news about my next film on my Twitter handle."

Meanwhile, Thiruchitrambalam also featured Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Raashi Khanna. The story follows Dhanush, who plays a food delivery executive and his quest for love and his changing dynamics with family members. The film marked Mithran Jawahar's fourth collaboration with Dhanush after Yaaradi Nee MohiniKutty, and Uthamaputhiran.
